Betrayal trauma support for partners
I Just Found Out

Maybe it was a message, a credit card charge, a search history, or a second phone. Maybe your partner told you, or only part of it. Either way, the ground went out from under you.
You might be replaying every year together, wondering what was real. You might not be sleeping. You might be furious one minute and numb the next. That’s what it’s like when trust is shattered by someone you love.
This help is for you
My sessions with partners are about you: your shock, your questions, and your next steps. Not about watching your partner’s phone, and not about saving the relationship at all costs. You don’t need to know yet whether you’re staying.
Whether your partner gets help or not, you can get support now. Your healing doesn’t have to wait on anyone else’s choices.
What we work on
I help you steady yourself, decide what you need to know and how you want to hear it, and set boundaries that protect you. I can also help you think through practical next steps, including medical testing.
If you both take part in a therapeutic disclosure, I help prepare that conversation carefully.
You don’t have to figure this out alone
Book a free, confidential 15-minute phone call. Tell me what happened. You don’t need the right words, and you don’t need to have decided anything.
Or call (212) 529-7900.
I’m Brad Salzman, LCSW, CSAT. Sessions with me are online, by video.
